CASE UPDATE: Nine Sentenced to Federal Prison in Multi-State Drug Trafficking Conspiracy

Jun 7, 2024 - The United States Attorney’s Office, Middle District of Florida has announced that all nine individuals charged as a result of “Operation Ice Man” have been sentenced to prison. Each defendant was found guilty by a jury or pleaded guilty for their role in a multi-state drug trafficking conspiracy that spanned from Mexico to California, Arizona, central Florida, and Flagler County.

Jun 7, 2024 - The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office donated $10,000 to support the local community organization, Rise Above the Violence. The check was presented to Carmen Gray, founder, by Sheriff Rick Staly and Chief David Williams. Funds for this donation came directly from seized drug dealer assets.

BPD, FCSO Seeking Additional Victims of Phone Scams

May 31, 2024 - On Thursday, May 30, 2024, the Bunnell Police Department (BPD) and the Flagler County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) arrested two men in connection with a fraud scheme involving phone calls impersonating an FCSO employee. The agencies are working with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to investigate multiple scam calls from the same day and are seeking additional victims.

Williams was taken into custody at the Flagler County Probation and Parole office by the Special Investigation Unit (SIU). At the time of his arrest, he was on probation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
