Feb 20, 2026 - The Flagler County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) today released its 2025 crime data, showing a continued overall reduction in crime across Flagler County compared to 2024. The data reflects significantly fewer reported offenses in all major crime categories.

FCSO Named Top Taxpayer Money Saver on Inmate Health Care Costs for Third Year

Feb 2, 2026 - For the third year in a row, Prime Corrections recognized Sheriff Rick Staly and the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office for being the top saver of taxpayer money through the Florida Sheriffs Association’s Offsite Inmate Medical Savings Program. The award was presented during the Florida Sheriffs Association’s 2026 Winter Meeting, where it was announced that FCSO had realized more than $2.08 million in savings over the past year. Since joining the program, FCSO has saved taxpayers nearly $5.27 million.

Investigative Services Division Chief Agustin Rodriguez, Youth Services Section Commander Jennifer Nawrocki, and School Resource Unit Sergeant Shane Meehan visited the schools to present the awards for December 2025 alongside school resource deputies.
