Taking A ‘Bite out of Crime’ Suspicious Person Arrested On Warrant Charges

Sep 27, 2017 - The suspect is known to deputies as Nathan Michael Ballance, DOB 8/9/1990, and has an active felony warrant for robbery. Deputies established a perimeter, along with the assistance of the Flagler County FireFlight Emergency Helicopter and K-9 Deputy Tag. K-9 Tag was able to apprehend the suspect in the woods and Ballance was taken into custody.

Fireworks Victim Receives Help from Shriners Hospital

Sep 20, 2017 - Two boys, ages 7 and 8, sustained significant life altering injuries on Sunday, July 9th after lighting fireworks that exploded on them at Dr. Carver Park in Bunnell. The boys claimed they found the fireworks laying around but detectives believe they came from a burglarized fireworks business where dozens of extremely dangerous and altered fireworks were stolen.

In Flagler County, all contractors are required to have a license if they are doing anything more than tree or debris removal. Self-serve sand is available at Fire Station 92 on Airport Road but at this location you will need to bring your own bags.

Three Suspects Arrested for Overnight Car Burglaries

Sep 4, 2017 - Four vehicle burglaries were reported Monday morning in the Woodlands area of Palm Coast. Patrol deputies and K-9s set a perimeter to search the area. Investigators followed leads on the use of a stolen credit card and tracked purchases to the Palm Coast Wal-Mart. Investigators were able to identify the suspects based on video surveillance at Wal-Mart. Investigators made contact with three suspects and took them into custody.
