Holiday Weekend Roundup: July 4-6
Flagler County Sheriff’s Office deputies made 25 arrests this past weekend between 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025, and 6 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025. With an increased presence throughout the long weekend, deputies handled 1,377 calls for service and made 294 traffic stops.

Sheriff Staly Returns Stolen Money to Scam Victims
On July 2, Sheriff Rick Staly personally presented checks to two local victims of cryptocurrency scams. This marked the first time in the history of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office that funds sent in scams involving cryptocurrency were traced, seized, and returned to their rightful owner during a criminal investigation by FCSO’s Cyber Crimes Unit.

Flagler County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested two Palm Coast juveniles last week after they fled from law enforcement on electric off-road motorcycles, endangering the lives of motorists and pedestrians in the process.
