Sheriff Rick Staly and the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office are saddened to announce the passing of K-9 Kyro due to an unknown medical issue. Kyro passed away on Oct. 14, 2025. He was 2 years old.
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a fugitive from justice who was wanted in North Carolina with multiple arrest warrants for 16 sex offenses involving a minor victim.
For the first time in the 2025-26 school year, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office presented Sheriff Rick Staly’s “Great Kid” Award to three exceptional Flagler Schools students.
Flagler County Sheriff’s Office deputies made 11 arrests this past weekend between 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, and 6 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025. Deputies handled 518 calls for service and made 91 traffic stops.
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office arrested two Bradford County men on narcotics-related charges following a traffic stop in Palm Coast, where the driver was also found in possession of a stolen firearm.
