Palm Coast Man Arrested for Residential Bomb Explosion
Last night on May 9 at approximately 10 p.m., the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Palm Coast man at his residence on Bronson Lane. He is accused of creating a pipe bomb that exploded outside a home on Poppy Lane in January 2022.
FCSO Presents Great Kid Awards
Three exceptional students who attend Flagler Schools received Sheriff Rick Staly’s “Great Kid Award.” Commander Jennifer Nawrocki of the Youth Services Section presented the first award at Wadsworth Elementary School on Thursday, May 2. Chief of Investigative Services Division, David Williams presented awards at Buddy Taylor Middle School and Matanzas High School on Monday, May 8.
Flagler County Sheriff's Office Holds Annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) held its annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service on Wednesday, May 8. Sheriff Rick Staly, FCSO employees, family members, and the community gathered at the FCSO Operations Center to hold a candlelight vigil in honor of all Flagler County, state, and national law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.
Sheriff Rick Staly Unveils Memorial in Honor of Sheriff Perry Hall for National Correctional Officers & Employees Week
On Wednesday, May 8, Sheriff Rick Staly unveiled a memorial in honor of Sheriff Perry Hall outside the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility. The jail, previously named the Flagler County Inmate Facility, was renamed after Sheriff Hall in 2018.

On the evening of May 6, at approximately 7:40 p.m., Corporal Green observed a white Nissan sedan with dark window tint exit the parking lot of Carver Gym in Bunnell without coming to a complete stop. The vehicle was previously observed in the parking lot around other subjects near picnic tables that are known to law enforcement as a location prone to drug deals.
