Man Arrested for Assisting Self-Murder

Aug 16, 2017 - Bruce Haughton, 52, is currently being booked into the Flagler County Detention Facility for Assisting Self-Murder of his girlfriend Katherine Goddard. On June 30, deputies responded to 29 Red Clover Lane in reference to a death investigation. There deputies found Bruce Haughton and Katherine Goddard inside their vehicle parked in the garage. Haughton had a pulse and was breathing; Goddard was unresponsive without a pulse.

Sheriff’s Detectives Receive Officer of the Year Award

Aug 15, 2017 - Two Flagler County Sheriff’s Detectives received the American Legion Post 115’s Officer of the Year award on Monday evening. Detectives Annie Conrad and Jody Glasgow received the award for their diligence and effort while working on the Charles Singer disappearance in March and subsequent homicide investigation that led to the arrest of Dorothy Singer on May 8, 2017.
