RICK STALY, SHERIFF

"An Honor to Serve, A Duty to Protect"

Chaplains

Flagler County Sheriff’s Chaplains are ordained members of the clergy who donate their time and talents in partnership with the members of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office in service to our communities.

Our Chaplains are each assigned to foster relationships with our staff members and provide confidential, emotional and non-denominational spiritual support to our personnel and citizen victims of crime or tragedy in Flagler County. In partnership with Sheriff’s Office personnel, Chaplains enhance 24 hour law enforcement services by making related spiritual support available to all people who live, work and visit Flagler County. They are also available to assist first responders at natural and other disaster scenes under a unified command structure.

Each of our Chaplains has received specialized training and instruction in Death Notification, Critical Incident Stress Management and Pastoral Crisis Intervention.
