ABOUT THE CASE
On Oct. 29, 2001, William Stanton was in his vehicle waiting for a train to pass at the railroad crossing at Elm Avenue in Bunnell. Two unidentified black males approached the vehicle from behind and shot into the vehicle using .380- and .45-caliber firearms. William was killed, while a passenger who was also inside the vehicle was unharmed.
