ABOUT THE CASE
On Sept. 8, 1999, Dawn Petterson's body was found on the west side of what is now Squash Blossom Trail at Seminole Woods Boulevard in Palm Coast, with a gunshot wound to the back of the head.
Further investigation revealed that Dawn's murder was linked to the 1997 murder of Andrea Ford, which also remains unsolved.
