ABOUT THE CASE

On Jan. 10, 1993, two boys discovered skeletal remains in the bushes on a vacant lot on Sea Ship Place in Palm Coast. It was estimated the body had been there for approximately two years. It was also estimated the victim was between 25 and 35 years old when she was killed.

Through genealogical research, the victim was found to be a descendant of George Washington Coleman and Clarissa Minnick from the Edgefield/Aiken, South Carolina area.
