On July 9, the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office Problem Area Crime Enforcement (P.A.C.E). Unit arrested Andrew Atkerson, 36, of Daytona Beach, for grand theft.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Palm Coast woman on multiple charges, including three felonies, after she fled from deputies during a traffic stop, then had to be removed from her vehicle because she ignored orders to exit.
Holiday Weekend Roundup: July 4-6
Flagler County Sheriff’s Office deputies made 25 arrests this past weekend between 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025, and 6 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025. With an increased presence throughout the long weekend, deputies handled 1,377 calls for service and made 294 traffic stops.

On July 2, Sheriff Rick Staly personally presented checks to two local victims of cryptocurrency scams. This marked the first time in the history of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office that funds sent in scams involving cryptocurrency were traced, seized, and returned to their rightful owner during a criminal investigation by FCSO’s Cyber Crimes Unit.
