Emergency Response Team

The Flagler County Sheriff's Office Emergency Response Team (ERT) is made up of high trained deputy sheriffs. Members serve on ERT as a collateral duty and attend regular training in search and rescue, Mobile Field Force, and natural disaster response topics so that they are ready to respond to a wide variety of incidents that may impact Flagler County. This team is utilized to respond to natural disasters, riot control, ground search operations, and perform search and rescue missions.

Additionally, ERT provides logistical support for large scale FCSO operations in the field, as well as state-wide support during declared emergencies and natural disasters.

ERT is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with the primary purpose of aiding citizens during times of need.
